Morning Star, as a ministry of Nixa First Assembly of God, strives to provide a safe and secure place for children to learn. All ages spend time learning about Jesus, singing worship songs and hearing Bible stories that tell of God’s love for them. We teach that God created each child for a unique purpose and sent Jesus to be their Savior and friend. Christian values, positive self image and readiness for school are an important part of our curriculum.
We offer childcare for children ages six weeks to 12 years of age. During the school year we provide transportation to each of the Nixa elementary schools. During the summer months we have a fantastic school age program that includes weekly field trips, swimming and interactive learning activities.
Our unique facility allows them to have indoor play in our full size gymnasium as well as outside play in our secure play yard. Each classroom is structured to meet the learning needs and ability of the age. All of our preschool classes have a special enhancement class for math and phonics with a certified elementary teacher.
