As Pastor of the Nixa First Assembly of God, God has placed a vision upon my heart for this church. This vision is not about buildings or land, but about people and their needs. In communing with God He has given me a four-fold vision for Nixa First Assembly of God.

Souls, Train, Equip, Minister
SOULS
Win everyone for Jesus. It literally makes no difference who you were or what you have done; all that matters is where you are going to spend eternity. There are two choices, and it is our goal to see that we can lead as many as possible to an eternity in Heaven.
TRAIN
This area of vision goes beyond JUST new converts. I believe we have failed to thoroughly train those who have made commitments to Christ. As a result, the success ratio of new converts is very minimal. If we will take the time, energy, and pay the cost to disciple them.THEY WILL MAKE IT! Discipleship training is provided for all.
EQUIP
Many would scream, "God called you to MINISTER, not me." That is such wrong thinking because God has truly called every Christian to a ministry. It may not be a public ministry such as preaching, singing, or teaching, but every Christian has a call of God upon their life to carry the good news to a hurting world. To effectively see everyone fulfill their potential we must equip, or train Christians for ministry.
MINISTER
Unless you have a "healthy" congregation you will not experience all that God wants to offer. This is more that just physical health, but includes health in the spirit, healthy homes, healthy marriages and healthy finances. It is our desire to minister to your EVERY need.
